How About a Spot of Tee?

If golf is your sport of choice, then why not venture over to Shipton Golf Course to play a superb nine holes?

Shipton Golf Course is situated in the heart of the Cotswold’s, just outside Cheltenham, utpopular spa town, and area of outstanding natural beauty. The course was opened back in 1995 offering easy walking and tee-rific golfing for all the family – no matter what ability. With a total length of 2487 yards, resulting in one par five, six par fours, and two par threes, the total for the nine holes is a rather generous 35. Whilst generous the par maybe, don’t get too blasé as the stream, large pond, trees, and shrubbery ensure each player must keep their wits about them, in order to successfully conquer the Shipton Golf Course.

Now if you’ve always wanted to give golf a try, but never had the time, why not treat yourself and a loved one to a tuition for two through the individual private lessons? Or perhaps pop along for a Friday tuition with a Professional Golfers’ Association teacher for £10 for one hour and a half. It is best to book in advance to avoid any disappointment. Details of booking can be found on Shipton’s Golf Course’s website under ‘Lessons’.

Shipton Golf Course is a reasonably priced club with weekday standard rates starting at £10 per person, for nine holes and weekend rates at £12 per person, for nine holes. All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted.

If you would like more information, please speak to a member of The Frogmill’s team, who will kindly assist you.
